The Bike Kitchen’s very own mechanics, Chris and Thom will be on hand with their Kinetic Sculptures and to serve as judges, FOR THE GLORY.

PG&E takes over the Kitchen…

PG&E employees from across the county donated their time (and bicycles) last week.

Melissa and her crew donated ten bicycles and got to work making repairs. Long-time mechanics Chris and Thom were on hand to share their expertise. Six bikes went to Jefferson Center for their summer bike program while the rest are ready to sell. They even stuck around to help finish up an extra bike bringing the total to eleven! Eleven bikes are waiting to roll you into this beautiful summer.

Bike Month is off to a fantastic start!

Alice Birney Bike Club came for a tour of the Kitchen. They learned how to patch a flat tire and left a little safer with lights for their bikes. Heidi from the Jefferson Center fixed our broken window and it’s got a fresh paint job. We’re open an extra evening for May and people are taking advantage of the extra time. Bikes are rolling out the door as quickly as we can fix them! We are so grateful for the generosity of those who volunteer time and expertise and those who donate their bicycles. This could not have happened without your support.
